Polar 66 'cuts it’ for Mayo printer

When Michael Joyce of Joyce Print looked to upgrade his ageing guillotine,
accuracy, speed and value for money were the main criteria for the replacement.

The Foxford, Co. Mayo based company which specialises in B3 offset, digital and trade NCR docket book work, opted for a Polar 66 after research confirmed that the German manufactured guillotine, supplied by Heidelberg, ticked all the boxes.

“Our old guillotine was working away fine, but our volumes have increased significantly, and we needed to up production and cutting accuracy to meet demand” commented Michael Joyce.
“We looked at a number of options and the Polar came out tops on all counts. We had considered a reconditioned machine, but the new polar came well within our budget, with the added comfort of delivery, installation, training and warranty.”
The Polar 66 is ideal for the small commercial printer and copy shop. It is programmable and easy to use on piles with a depth of up to 67cm. It has a flat screen control panel with easily legible symbols and a memory capacity for up to 99 programs. It features manual back gauge position with electronic hand wheel.
