Ryobi four colour finds new home in Mallow

Mallow Printing works, located in the heart of the North Cork town
, has completed a production kit overhaul with the installation of a Ryobi 524HXX  four colour offset press.

The refurbished machine, supplied by Island Print & Finishing Equipment, replaces an older Hamada model, and is complimented by the addition of an ECRM Mako CtP device.

“The Ryobi gives us more automation, higher production speeds and faster turnarounds”
comented  Mallow’s M.D. John O’ Sullivan.

"We are delighted with the quality we are getting from the new press, the off-press controls and the ECRM CtP system  have reduced our make ready times significantly."

The press install tops off an investment period which has seen the company install a number of pieces of equipment throughout its offset, digital, wide format and garment printing departments.

Mallow Printing Works was founded in 1950 by John’s father Richard in the towns William O Brien St. and moved to its current home in shambles lane  in 2007.

The company is also in the process of  preparing a shop front outlet in Main St. mallow in the coming weeks.
