O’Briens leave it to Intec to handle heavy stocks
Ballyfermot based O’Brien printing, internationally renowned for its range of pocket and desk diaries, has taken delivery of Ireland’s first Intec DPM450 heavy duty digital print system.
The unique production features of the Intec, which can process up to 25kg of extreme stocks up to 600gsm in one continuous run, were not lost on O’Brien,s managing director, Dermot O’ Brien, who said:
“The versatility of the Intec and its ability to print not only on heavy media but on envelopes will complement our other digital print technologies. The Intec DMP450 with
its heavy duty feeder and stacker system will enhance our products and services to our general print customers.”
O’Brien’s manufacture an extensive range of quality pocket & desk diaries, plus a range of Calendars for their Irish and international corporate clients. Their range of products are also distributed to the retail sector in Ireland and to various destinations across the world, all work is carried out in their modern production facility in Ballyfermot, West Dublin.
Digital Print Business based in Dublin, supplied and installed the unit at OBrien Printing. Paul Hopkins MD commented that he was delighted that another market leading printer in Dublin had installed an Intec system.
